A New Style: One Masterpiece for Every Monday

Other than the last two weeks, I’ve been shooting for writing my usual daily post.  This has been more difficult than I expected.

The difficulty has less to do with time than I originally thought.  The main problem is inspiration.  My more random insights and thoughts have slowed down substantially.

I interpret this to be a good thing, and, frankly, I’m a bit relieved.  It’s a sign that I’m focused and my creativity is honing in on my work.  (Like many things, creativity is a gift and a curse.)

However, I will never stop writing and will never stop blogging.  But, I do want to deliver something special that readers can’t find anywhere else.

With that in mind, I’m changing my strategy: I’m going to aim for delivering one masterpiece–a piece I’m proud of–every week on Monday.  I’m sure I’ll still post other items during the week, most of which I hope will be interesting, but I want to deliver something that gets people talking.

This is actually a very tall order.  Delivering a masterpiece every week is very difficult in comparison to writing about interesting things that are on your mind already.

We’ll see how it goes.  I think we’ll be pleased.
