Well, I successfully made it back from Ultra Music Festival in Miami. What a heck of a time. To give you a better idea of what it was like, check out this video of Tiesto blowing everyone’s minds (he really put down a ridiculous set of tracks):
It’s impossible to fully capture the scene, particularly the effect of really big speakers with a lot of bass, but it’s a glimpse.
Now, you might find it funny, but I enjoy events like this for more than just an opportunity to party and have fun with my friends: Huge crowds of people engaged in a common activity is a great place to study what it means to be human.
I’ll share some insights later. For now, just wanted to let everyone know that I’m still alive :)
